Start Your Great Things Here

If we haven’t met, I’m Adrian Williams.

You’re here because you either follow me on social media, got lost on the internet, or my newsletter was recommended to you. Ultimately, my guess is that you’re like me and looking for something more out of life—a deeper connection to who and what you care the most about.

As Uncle Momo, I’m always looking for more.

In my life, I’ve sought to surround myself with people who uplift me but also challenge me, a community that can rally together to support each other, one that always has each other’s back and is always cheering for each other. After all, negativity does make me nauseous.

Social media is a wonderful tool, a starting point for building connections, finding new interests, and keeping in touch. But after a certain point, it can feel meaningless, an endless doom scroll of information yanking you away from the things that matter in life. It is 100% not a sustainable way to live.

Recently, I’ve realized that I am not reachable and not able to motivate the way I want to. Because of my desire to forge deeper connections, I thought about how my goal has always been to inspire thought and mindfulness, not influence. I want to help lift people to their greatest potential and have fun while we do it. But getting to where we want to be doesn’t happen overnight. As my Nana used to say,

“Never give up because great things take time.”

So, in honor of my late Nana, I bring you Great Things Take Time, a space to help us grow together as a community because good things are fleeting, but Great Things Take Time.

With Great Things Take Time, I want to open my life up, sharing the decisions I’ve made that have brought me fulfillment, but also be on the sidelines, supporting your journey. If I can help you with that one thing that will change your life for the better, then I’ve accomplished what I’m here to do (unlike that person who lives rent-free in your head. You know who, we all have one).

But most importantly, with Great Things Take Time, I want to build a community of people who crave a deeper connection than the one-sided things of social media. Finding meaningful ways to interact and support each other while we’re on our own journeys, cheering each other on from all across the world.

Monday’s newsletter will always be available to everyone, but with a monthly subscription, you’ll join the Great Things Collective which will give you access to a subscribers-only Discord community so I can interact with you directly, additional editions of Great Things Take Time (this is where I share the juicy stuff), the ability to share more with the community, and first-in-line to all announcements, merch drops, events, and anything else exciting I have planned for you.

Subscribing will help us grow the community, find ways to engage with each other on new levels, connect in real life, and, of course, include a charitable component to give back where we, as a group, feel it is needed most.

Of course, we’ll keep things fun because, as my Nana used to say, "You can’t always work so much.”

If you want to join in on the fun, you can upgrade to the Great Things Collective here.

I can’t tell you how much I look forward to starting this journey together and getting to know you all on a new level!
